Josefson recently returned to the Sabres’ lineup and had a goal and an assist in three games before leaving Saturday’s game in Montreal prematurely. Josefson will be out until at least late-December.
Josefson left Sunday’s game in Anaheim with a lower-body injury and missed Tuesday’s game in Vegas as a result. Head coach Phil Housley came out on Thursday and said that Josefson will miss a couple weeks with the ailment.
Josefson missed the Devils’ morning skate and will not play against the Bruins. With Josefson out, Pavel Zacha will be back in the lineup. Consider him as day-to-day.
Josefson has missed the last five games with a concussion, but will be back on the third line tonight in Washington. He has two assists in 14 games this season.
Josefson, 25, is a former first round pick (20th overall in 2009), who has struggled to find any offence in his NHL career. The Sweden native has recorded just 17 goals and 33 assists (50 points) in 238 career NHL games (all with the Devils) and he should once again find himself in the Devils’ bottom-6 to begin 2016-17.
Josefson will be reevaluated on Monday and has a few days to recover before the Devils play the Sharks on Thursday. With Josefson out, Bobby Farnham will draw into the lineup.
Josfeson is dealing with an undisclosed ailment and could miss tonight’s game vs. the Islanders. If Josefson can’t play, the Devils could go with seven defensemen.
Josefson has missed the last four games with an illness, but returned to practice today. The Devils are back in action on Tuesday and Josefson's availability this morning bodes well for him returning to the lineup tomorrow vs. the Sabres.

Another Devils’ forward is out with an illness. As of right now it doesn’t appear that Josefson’s illness is the mumps, but it will keep him out of the lineup anyways.

Josefson, 23, was the 20th overall pick in the 2009 NHL Draft. He recorded one goal and two assists (3 points) in 27 games with the Devils last season.
Josefson has picked up a virus and will be out for the next couple of days. He is not fantasy relevant.
