Hamblin was recalled from Bakersfield (AHL) Sunday where he had three goals, two assists, six PIMs and a +4 plus/minus in six games and will make his season debut Monday for the Oilers vs. Vancouver. The 24-year-old appeared in 10 games as a rookie in 2022-23, but failed to pick up a point while getting 12 SOG, two PIMs and a -3 plus/minus.
Hamblin will make his NHL debut Monday vs the Florida Panthers as he draws into the Oilers' lineup for the first time. He has picked up nine points (3G / 6A) in 15 AHL games this season. He'll replace Ryan McLeod, who was placed on IR on Sunday.
