Sekac will draw into the Blackhawks lineup on Tuesday.
Sekac has been a healthy scratch in four of the last five games, but will replace the injured Artemi Panarin tonight vs. the Sharks. Sekac has no points in his first two games with the Blackhawks.

Sekac has been sidelined with a sprained ankle since November 1st, but returning to the ice on Monday is a good sign that Sekac is progressing towards a December return.

Sekac suffered a sprained ankle in Sunday’s win over the Predators. He was placed on IR and the Ducks recalled Max Friberg, who will make his season debut with Sekac out. Sekac will miss at least one week.

After getting his Visa issues cleared up, Sekac made his Anaheim debut on Wednesday vs. the Senators. He was held off of the score sheet in 14:35, registering one shot and a minus-1 rating. He played on the Ducks second line with Ryan Kesler and Jakob Silfverberg.

There is a chance it could be resolved before game time, but he can’t play as of now.

Sekac, 22, was coveted by most NHL general managers on July 1st, but elected to sign a two-year contract with the Habs. Sekac had 11 goals and 17 assists (28 points) in 47 games with Prague Lev of the KHL last season.
