Hiller turned aside 26 of 27 shots in Saturday’s 4-1 win over the Oilers. After not winning a game for over one month, Hiller has won two in a row with a 1.95 GAA and .934 SV%. Tonight he will face a Kings team he is very familiar with from his days with Anaheim—he made 31 saves in a 4-3 OT win in L.A last Monday.
Hiller surrendered three goals on 34 shots in the Flames OT win over the Kings on Monday. It was Hiller’s first win since November 18th and made him 10-10-2 with a 2.40 GAA and .915 SV%. Tonight he draws a fabulous matchup with the struggling Oilers in town.
It was originally reported that Karri Ramo would get the nod tonight vs. the Kings, but now it will be Hiller. He stopped 30 of 32 shots in a OT loss to the Canucks on Saturday and will get his fifth start in the Flames last six games. He is 0-4-1 with a 2.05 GAA and .921 SV% in December.
Hiller allowed two goals on 21 shots in the Flames loss to the Stars last night. Despite the loss, he was not very busy so he will get back-to-back starts for the first time this season. Hiller has lost his last six straight starts with a 2.75 GAA and .893 SV%.

He has failed to record a win since November 18th, but he has played well, posting a 2.07 GAA and .919 SV% in his last three starts. He will face a Stars team who have won three of their last four and rank ninth in the league in scoring (2.87 G/PG).

He will get back to back starts for the first time since November 18th-20th, but comes in having lost his last four starts with a 3.10 GAA and .880 SV%. It won’t be easy to snap this losing streak when they take on the Blackhawks.
Hiller allowed two goals on 27 shots in the Flames 4-1 loss to the Maple Leafs on Tuesday. Hiller has lost his last three starts and has not recorded a win since November 18th. He will look to snap that streak tonight, but it will not be an easy thing to do in Pittsburgh.

He has worked his way back into the must-start category the way he has played through his first eight starts.

Having allowed just three goals on 120 shots (.975 SV%) in his last four starts, the Flames have decided to break up their goalie rotation and give Hiller two starts in a row for the first time this season. He has been excellent through six outings and draws a good matchup vs. a Predators team they beat 3-2 on October 14th with Karri Ramo between the pipes.

He has been excellent and draws an OK matchup tonight against a Habs team coming off of a loss to the Oilers last night.
