Dahlen has been a healthy scratch for six of the last seven games but will replace John Leonard (lower-body) in the lineup on Thursday. Dahlen has just one goal and one assist in his last 13 games.
Jonathan Dahlen News
Dahlen missed the last five games but is set to play Saturday vs. the Stars. Dahlen will draw back in on the second line with Logan Couture and has scored 12 goals with nine assists (21 points) in 52 games this season.
Dahlen will come out of the lineup for the second time in three games, making way for Jasper Weatherby to play on the fourth line and second power-play unit.
Dahlen has gone pointless in his last four games and has just six points (3G / 3A) in his last 21 games. Ryan Dzingel will replace him in the lineup, making his Sharks debut one day after being claimed off of waivers from Toronto.
Dahlen left midway during the first period of Saturday's loss to the Capitals. He came back for two shifts at the beginning of the second period before getting shut down for the night. Dahlen will miss Monday's game vs. the Hurricanes but could be back Wednesday vs. Ottawa or Friday vs. the Maple Leafs.
Dahlen was acquired in 2017 as a part of the Alex Burrows trade and has scored 14 goals with 15 assists (29 points) in 50 games with Utica (AHL) this season. He will report to San Jose (AHL).
Dahlen, 19, was a second round pick in 2016 (No.42 overall) and has had a great season with Timra in the Swedish Elite League. The Swedish-centre has scored 24 goals with 18 assists (42 points) in his second professional season—the Canucks appeared to have scored a quality prospect for a veteran winger.
