Caron did not record point and was a minus-3 in four games during his time with the Blues. His return to the AHL suggests that the Blues could get Patrik Berglund back in the lineup on Saturday.

Caron, 23, is set to become a restricted free agent in the offseason. He is a former first round pick, 25th overall in 2009, but has only tallied 28 points (12G / 16A) in 134 career NHL games with the Bruins. He has shown some scoring prowess at the AHL level this season, but hasn’t been able to translate that to the big leagues.

Caron, 24, has no points in two games with Boston this season. While in Providence he has recorded 19 points (9G / 10A) in 23 games.

Caron has a minus-1 rating and one shot in just 3:35 TOI in the only game he played in on Monday. Seth Griffith was recalled with Caron going down.

Caron did not play during his weekend recall and was sent down on Sunday for cap reasons. Caron could be in the lineup on Monday vs. the Penguins.

Caron did not play in Saturday’s game vs. Montreal. He heads back to Providence where he has posted nine points in nine games.

Caron, 24, failed to record a point in his only game with the Bruins this season. While in Providence, he registered five goals and four assists in nine games. No word on if he will crack the lineup tonight vs. the Canadiens.

Caron made his season debut on Monday, but failed to record a point. The Bruins signed veteran Simon Gagne this morning and he will replace Caron in the lineup.

Caron, 23, will be eligible to play in the Bruins game tonight vs. the Red Wings. He had one goal and two assists (three points) in 35 games with the B's last season. There is a solid chance that he replaces enforcer Bobby Robins, because the Red Wings don't carry an enforcer of their own.

Justin Florek will enter the lineup in Caron's place. Neither player is fantasy relevant.

Caron has been a healthy scratch the last two games. He has just two assists in 13 games.

The Bruins put Chris Bourque on waivers yesterday which opened up a roster spot for Caron. He has 10 goals and five assists in 44 games in the AHL this season.
