Szwarz has recorded five goals and three assists (eight points) in six games with Providence this season. The 26-year-old has recorded just four goals in 35 career NHL games with the Coyotes. Szwarz joins the team after the Bruins announced that David Backes will miss two months.
Szwarz has recorded two goals in 20 games with the Coyotes this season. While in the AHL, the 22-year-old has seven points (4G / 3A) in 12 games. He has been recalled to provide depth at forward fro the Coyotes, no word on if he will be in the lineup tonight.
Szwarz is not expected to have any fantasy significance for the Coyotes.
Szwarz has three goals and two assists in six games with Portland. He was a fourth round pick of the Coyotes in 2009.
