Morrissey is expected to be a healthy scratch on Thursday.

With the Jets locked into a first-round matchup with the Colorado Avalanche, they will sit a number of players in their season finale. Morrissey, who will be replaced by Colin Miller on Thursday, finishes the season with 69 points (10G / 59A) in 81 games. Over the last two seasons, Morrisey is tied with Adam Fox for fourth in points (145) among defensemen.

Morrissey (lower body) will be a game-time decision Saturday vs. Toronto.

Morrissey exited the Jets' last games with only 7:17 time-on-ice after blocking a shot but appears to be on the mend for a quick recovery after participating at practice on Friday. If Morrissey is unable to play on Saturday, the Jets' next game is not for another nine days. Neal Pionk replaced Morrissey on the top powerplay unit after Morrissey left the game.

Morrissey (lower-body) will miss the rest of the Jets' first round series vs. the Golden Knights.

Morrissey was forced to leave Game 3 after just two shifts and 1:14 TOI due to a lower-body injury after throwing a hit and will miss at least the rest of the Jets' first round series. It is a massive loss for the Jets as Morrissey finished the regular season second among all NHL defensemen in points (76 Pts in 78 GP) and had an assist through three games in the 2022-23 playoffs so far.

Morrissey (lower-body) will be back in the Jets lineup on Thursday.

Morrissey has missed the Jets' previous two games due to a lower-body injury but will draw back into the lineup Thursday vs. Boston. The 27-year-old is enjoying a breakout season, with 15 goals, 67 points, 140 SOG, 33 PIMs and a -1 plus/minus through 66 games played prior to the injury.

Morrissey will draw back into the Jets lineup on Thursday.

Morrissey missed Saturday’s game against the Islanders with an upper-body injury and was held out of Tuesday’s game for “precautionary reasons.” Morrissey has played 26:01 ATOI in his first two games as the team’s No.1 defenseman and will be back on the top-pair and top PP tonight.

Morrissey (precautionary reasons) will not play on Tuesday.

Morrissey missed Sunday’s game with an upper-body injury and will miss Tuesday’s game despite taking part in practice on Monday. The Jets are also without Dmitry Kulikov (personal), so Sami Niku and Nelson Nogier were recalled from Manitoba (AHL). Morrissey should be back in vs. the Wild on Thursday.
