The Stars have run into some scoring issues lately and have been outscored 32-19 in their last eight games (1-7-0 in that span). Tonight he will face a surging Wild team who is 6-2-0 while outscoring the opposition 25-14 in their last eight.

Lehtonen surrendered three goals on 34 shots in a 3-2 loss to the Rangers on Friday. He was given Sunday night off vs. the Islanders, but it appears that he will take on the Oilers tonight. He has had a lot of success vs. Edmonton this season going 1-0-1 with a 0.96 GAA and .963 SV%.

Lehtonen was excellent on Thursday stopping 33 of 34 shots, but was bested by Cory Schneider's 26-save shutout in the 1-0 loss. Tonight he would face the Rangers and their 24th ranked offence (2.40 G/PG).

Lehtonen allowed seven goals on 43 shots in a 7-3 loss to the Islanders on Tuesday. The Stars goaltending has been suspect recently, they have given up 18 goals in the last three games. He has a solid matchup tonight vs. the Devils and their 26th ranked offence.

Lehtonen allowed two goals on 14 shots after replacing Dan Ellis in Saturday's 5-1 loss to the Red Wings. Ellis looked extremely shaky in the first period, so there is no surprise to see Lehtonen start tonight. He carries a 11-4-2, 2.70 GAA and .917 SV% on the road heading into Long Island tonight.

Lehtonen allowed two goals on 25 shots in a win over the Kings on Tuesday. It was his 16th win of the season and third in his last four starts. Tonight he gets the call against the Canadiens.In his first start against the Habs he allowed two goals on 24 shots in a 2-1 loss.
