Lehtonen allowed three goals on 22 shots in an OT loss to the Blues on Sunday. The loss moved him to 5-3-4 with a 2.89 GAA and .914 SV% in December. Tonight he will go for his 16th win of the season when he is expected to face the Kings in Dallas. He won his only start against Los Angeles this season.

Lehtonen allowed two goals on 39 shots in a 3-2 shootout loss to the Sharks in Saturday. It was a tough-luck loss for the Finnish netminder who has had an inconsistent December. He enters play tonight 3-3-3 with a 3.23 GAA and .909 SV% this month.

Lehtonen had given up a whopping 23 goals in his previous six games, so the W could spark some strong play going forward. Tonight he takes on a Sharks team who have lost six of their last eight and just lost their rookie sensation Tomas Hertl.

Lehtonen gave up six goals on 48 shots in a blow-out loss to the Avalanche on Monday. After leaving the ice first this morning it looks like he will get his second start of the season against Vancouver. In the first meeting he stopped 42 of 43 shots in a 2-1 win.
