Lind will return to the AHL after making just one pointless appearance with the Kraken.
Lind had 30 goals, 32 assists, 91 PIMs and a +11 plus/minus through 72 games with Coachella Valley (AHL) and has signed a one-year, two-way contract worth $775,000 AAV with Seattle. The 24-year-old right-winger was a 2017 second-round pick for Vancouver (33rd overall) and has two goals and eight points across 30 career NHL games with both Vancouver and Seattle.
Head coach Dave Hakstol called Lind day-to-day after he missed Monday's practice. Look for Daniel Sprong to draw back into the lineup if Lind can't play on Tuesday.
With Alex Wennberg and Joonas Donskoi both out with upper-body injuries, Lind is expected to be in the Kraken lineup on Saturday. Lind has two assists in five NHL games this season and 35 points (17G / 18A) in 46 AHL games.
Lind will take Calle Jarnkrok's spot on the roster and could replace Jordan Eberle (lower-body) if he's unavailable on Wednesday. Lind has scored two goals with five assists (seven points) in 17 AHL games this season.
Lind appeared in seven games with the Canucks last season but has been scratched for the first three games of the 2021-22 season with Seattle. Lind will replace Alex Barre-Boulet in the lineup and is expected to skate on the second line. The 23-year-old has compiled 52 points (19G/ 33A) in 69 AHL games over the last two seasons.
Lind has splayed in six straight games but will come out of the lineup on Monday with Zack MacEwen returning from a one-game suspension.
Lind was the No.33 overall pick in 2017 and is set to make his NHL debut on Thursday. The 22-year-old winger has scored five goals with three assists (eight points) in eight games with Utica (AHL) this season.
