MacLean played six games with the Islanders earlier this season, scoring one goal during that stint. The undrafted 24-year-old has earned himself another call-up due to solid play in the AHL, tallying 22 points (6G / 16A) in 43 games with the Bridgeport Islanders.
Despite registering his first goal and point of the season in Monday's 3-2 win over the Toronto Maple Leafs, MacLean has been reassigned to Bridgeport (AHL). The move was made in correspondence to Casey Cizikas being activated from long-term injured reserve.
