Stone (neck) is doubtful for Thursday, but could play on Sunday.

Stone missed Tuesday’s game in New Jersey with a neck injury that he suffered on a hit from Jacob Trouba on Sunday. Stone was fortunate to avoid a concussion on the play and could end up only missing two games. Monitor his status leading up to the Sunday-Monday back-to-back.

Stone left Sunday’s game after being hit in the head by Jets’ defenseman Jacob Trouba.

Stone was down on the ice for a bit before retiring to the dressing room for the night. Trouba faces a hearing for the hit, but Stone could be out of the lineup longer. The Senators also lost Mike Hoffman and Tommy Wingels last night, so they need some good news on the injury front.

Stone (upper-body) practice on Friday; could return to the lineup on Saturday.

Stone missed Thursday’s game with an upper-body injury that he suffered on Tuesday, but he was back skating on the Senators’ top-line on Friday and head coach Guy Boucher is hopeful that he will be available on Saturday. Stone has had a slow start to the season, having recorded just one goal and four assists in nine games.

Stone is out indefinitely with a concussion; could be ready for the season opener (Oct. 12).

Stone suffered a concussion during the Senators’ practice on Friday and will be held off of the ice until he is symptom free. Stone is coming off of a 23-goal, 38-assist (61 points) season and with two weeks left until the start of the regular season, he could still be ready for the season opener.

The Senators signed Mark Stone to a three-year contract worth $10.5M.

Stone, 23, was one of the hottest players in the final few months of the season and earned himself a rookie of the year nomination. The former sixth-round pick led all rookies with 64 points (26G / 38A) in 80 games. Stone heads into 2015-16 in search of his first career 30-goal season.

Stone (wrist) will be a game-time decision for Game 2.

Stone only skated for eight minutes this morning, but is still listed as a game-time decision. He is reportedly dealing with a micro fracture in his right wrist and he is expected to test it in pre-game warmups. Expect Stone to play if it is determined that he cannot do any further damage to the wrist.

Stone has a microfracture in his right wrist; status unknown for remainder of the series.

Stone was injured when he was slashed by P.K Subban in Game 1. Subban was assessed a game misconduct for the slash, but will be back for Game 2, but it does not look like Stone will be. The Senators called him “very questionable” to play again in the series. This is a huge loss for the Senators. Stone came in as one of the NHL’s hottest players.
