Stone only skated for eight minutes this morning, but is still listed as a game-time decision. He is reportedly dealing with a micro fracture in his right wrist and he is expected to test it in pre-game warmups. Expect Stone to play if it is determined that he cannot do any further damage to the wrist.

Stone was injured when he was slashed by P.K Subban in Game 1. Subban was assessed a game misconduct for the slash, but will be back for Game 2, but it does not look like Stone will be. The Senators called him “very questionable” to play again in the series. This is a huge loss for the Senators. Stone came in as one of the NHL’s hottest players.
Stone missed Saturday’s game vs. the Penguins, but he is expected to be back in the lineup tonight vs. the Canucks. If Stone is ready to go go, he will replace Milan Michalek who is out with an upper-body injury.
Stone did not travel with the team to Pittsburgh, so he will be replaced by Zack Smith today vs. the Penguins. Stone is considered day-to-day.
Stone must have suffered an undisclosed injury in the Senators loss to the Islanders on Thursday. Puck-drop is at 1 PM ET so there will be no morning skate, so monitor his status prior warmups.
Stone has one goal and one assist in seven games with the Senators this season. While with Binghamton he has 38 points (15G / 23A) in 35 games. He has been recalled with Bobby Ryan questionable for Monday's game in Tampa Bay.

Stone crashed into the boards in practice and left favouring one of his arms. He was playing on a line with Jason Spezza so someone will get a chance to play with the talented playmaker while Stone is out. Stone is staying back home to he re-evaluated and may join the team later.
Stone, 21, has recorded nine goals and nine assists for 18 points in 19 AHL games with the B-Sens this season. He missed 10 games after being injured during the team’s season-opener on Oct. 5 against Syracuse. The 6-2, 203-pound forward played in four regular-season games with the Senators last season, while being held scoreless. Senators coach Paul MacLean wanted a bigger body around the opposing net -- something the 6-foot-2, 188-pound Stone can provide. Due to his previous experience with Spezza, Stone is expected to flank the veteran center on the right, with Milan Michalek skating on the left. The move has made Cory Conacher the odd-man out. Stone had 38 points in 54 games in the AHL this season.
Stone drew a good deal of press after signing his entry-level contract. Last season he scored 37 goals and 106 points with the Brandon Wheat Kings. He currently leads the entire WHL with 13 points.
Stone is coming off career highs in the WHL and likely returns there for this season following the preseason. His strong showing in rookie camp was enough to earn a new contract, however.
