Max Veronneau News

Veronneau will be a healthy scratch on Monday.

Veronneau played in three straight games but was largely ineffective, so he'll come out and Mikael Boedker will draw in vs. the Blue Jackets. Boedker has been a healthy scratch a lot this year, so don't be surprised if Veronneau replaces him on Wednesday.

The Senators signed Max Veronneau to a two-year entry-level contract.

Veronneau was born in Ottawa and signed with the Senators after finishing his senior year at Princeton University. The 23-year-old forward was first on the team in assists (24), second in goals (13) and points (37) in 31 games. Signing with the depleted Senators could mean that Veronneau could get an opportunity to play in the NHL right away.
