In the expansion draft you need to expose one defenseman who have played 40 games this season or 70 games combined in the last two seasons and be under contract next season—that’s what this signing is for. The Blackhawks have signed Rozsival in order to expose him to Las Vegas this summer.

Rozsival was placed on injured reserve on Sunday and will miss at least two weeks. Look for Gustav Forsling to draw into the lineup on Tuesday with Rozsival out.

Rozsival was a healthy scratch for the first six games of the season, but will play tonight vs. the Flames. Rozsival, who had 13 points (1G / 12A) in 51 games last year, will replace Michal Kempny in the lineup on Monday.

Rozsival was held out of Friday’s game, but is expected to be back in the lineup on Sunday after participating in Saturday’s practice. With Rozsival set to return, Kyle Cumiskey will come out of the lineup.

Rozsvial is day-to-day with a shoulder injury, so Kyle Cumiskey will make his season debut tonight vs. New Jersey. Coach Joel Quenneville is hopeful that Rozsival will return to the lineup on Sunday vs. the Penguins.

Rozsival was reportedly seen with an ice-pack on his shoulder this morning and could be held out of the lineup tonight. Kyle Cumiskey was recalled last night and could be making his season debut.

Rozsival was originally listed as a game-time decision, but following the morning skate the Blackhawks announced he will not play tonight, but hope to have him back for the Winter Classic on Thursday.

Rozsival suffered a lower-body injury in the Tuesday’s loss vs. Winnipeg. Rozsival is not expected to miss a lengthy period of time and could be back on Monday.

Rozsival missed the first three games of the regular season, but will make his season debut on Saturday vs. Nashville. He is expected to replace Trevor van Riemsdyk in the lineup. Rozsival had one goal and seven assists (eight points) in 42 games a season ago.

Rozsival missed Thursday's season opener with an upper-body injury and will miss a second straight game tomorrow. Rookie Trevor van Riemsdyk made his NHL debut with Rozsival out, so expect him to stay in the lineup on Saturday.

Rozsival has not played since March 16th, but should be back by this weekend. Rozsival has one goal and six assists in 38 games for Chicago this season.

Rozsival had 12 assists in 27 games with the Hawks this season as well as four assists in 23 playoff games en route to a Stanley Cup.

The injury means more to the Hawks than for fantasy.
