Nogier was recalled prior to Tuesday’s game as an extra defenseman. His return to Manitoba suggests that Josh Morrissey will be available for Thursday’s game.

Winnipeg’s blueline remains in flux and Nogier could make his season debut on Tuesday. The 6-foot-3, 208 lbs. defenseman had just nine points (1G / 8A) in 74 AHL games last season. He has not recorded a point in 11 career NHL games.

Nogier, 20, has two goals and 11 assists (13 points) in 57 games with Manitoba this season and he could make his NHL debut this week. The Jets’ blueline is banged up, so the former fourth round pick could draw into the lineup.
