The Golden Knights have placed Oscar Dansk (lower-body) on IR.

This is an unfortunate injury for both Dansk and the Golden Knights. Dansk had been playing brilliantly, stopping 88 of the 93 shots (.946 SV%) that he faced before getting hurt. Dansk joins Marc-Andre Fleury and Malcolm Subban on IR, leaving Maxime Lagace and Dylan Ferguson as their goaltending duo for the foreseeable future.

Dansk left Monday’s game with a lower-body injury and did not return.

Dansk appeared to have lost an edge and he fell awkwardly on John Tavares’ second goal of the game and was forced to depart with a lower-body injury. Dansk was replaced by Maxime Lagace, who struggled, but is now expected to get the nod on Tuesday. There’s no word on how long Dansk will be sidelined, but the Golden Knights’ goaltending injury woes continue.
