Scuderi is not known for his offence and basically lost his spot in the lineup when the Kings brought in Zach Trotman and Tom Gilbert this summer.

Scuderi, 37, has been traded twice this season. He was acquired by the Blackhawks earlier in the season as a part of the Trevor Daley trade, but didn’t have a point in 17 games with Chicago. He heads to Los Angeles to provide depth on the blueline, but should play a larger role with the Kings than he did with the Hawks.
Scuderi has no points and a minus-6 rating in 17 games since being acquired from Pittsburgh earlier in the season. With the emergence of Erik Gustafsson and Viktor Svedberg, Scuderi’s services seem to be no longer needed.
Scuderi was traded to the Blackhawks on Monday and will replace David Rundblad in the lineup on Tuesday. Trevor Daley did not fit in Chicago, but they’re hoping that Scuderi will help on their third pair and penalty kill. He will start his Blackhawks career with Michal Rozsival as his D-pair.
Scuderi, 36, was three seasons into his second stint with the Penguins after previously winning a Stanley Cup in 2008-09 during his first run in Pittsburgh from 2003-2009. Scuderi, who has served as a healthy scratch recently, has just four assists in 25 games this season.
Scuderi was a healthy scratch in the Penguins win over the Senators on Thursday. In his first three games of the season, the Penguins lost each of them while scoring no points and posting a minus-1 rating. He will replace Adam Clendening.
Scuderi isn't expected to have any fantasy significance.
Scuderi has been out since October 26 with a fractured ankle. His would be return would be big for a Penguins team who has been decimated by injuries in the last month. Monitor his status during Sunday's morning skate.

It is the first time since Scuderi has skated with his teammates since suffering a broken ankle on October 26. He was originally expected to miss 6-to-8 weeks and it has been just over seven weeks, so he should be back in the lineup soon. His return would be huge for a Penguins blueline who are without four regulars right now.
Scuderi suffered a broken ankle that required surgery in late October. He has begun light workouts and skating, but the next step would be to participate in practice. He was given a six-to-eight week timetable and this would mark the sixth week, so the Penguins will look to have the veteran D-man back in their lineup soon.
There is no timetable for Scuderi's return. Robert Bortuzzo will likely be a regular on the Penguins blueline while Scuderi is out.
There are reports that Scuderi could miss an extended period of time, but we will away official word from the Penguins.
Scuderi left Saturday's game with an apparent left leg injury and was not present at the Penguins morning skate today. He will not play tonight and Matt Niskanen will move alongside Kris Letang on the blueline.
Scuderi will return to Pittsburgh where he played from 2003-2009. The 34-year-old brings a physical brand of hockey to a team who appeared to be pushed around by the Boston Bruins in Eastern Conference Finals.
Clearly this injury is nothing to worry about. The veteran Scuderi has a goal and seven points through 54 games.
