The Ottawa Senators did not have a morning skate and chose to workout at the hotel, but the belief is that Craig Anderson is still not ready which leaves Lehner to make his seventh straight start. Lehner gave up three goals on 44 shots in a 3-1 loss to the Stars on Saturday. Lehner was actually strong, but the Sens have just been awful as of late. The 22-year-old has lost all five starts since Anderson was injured, posting a 4.34 GAA and .880 SV% in the process. Tonight, he faces a red-hot Steven Stamkos and the Lightning.

Lehner allowed five goals on 28 shots in a loss to the Lightning on Thursday. He has lost all four starts while posting an ugly 4.66 GAA and .863 SV% since Craig Anderson got hurt. With Andy still sidelined he will get the call this afternoon in Dallas. The Stars have lost their last four games, but Lehner is struggling too much to be trusted right now.

Lehner was yanked after allowing five goals on 28 shots in Tuesday's 8-4 loss to the Rangers. Lehner has allowed 13 goals in three starts since Craig Anderson went down with an injury. He should be avoided again tonight when he takes on a Lightning team who's captain, Steven Stamkos is firing on all cylinders.

Lehner stopped 43 of 48 shots in a 5-4 OT loss to the Habs last night. Lehner looked to be in line for the win, until the Canadiens scored three goals in the final four minutes of the game, including the game-tying goal at 0.3 seconds left. The OT winner was pretty suspect. He appeared to have it covered before it squeaked loose to a wide open Francois Bouillion. It will be tough for a better result tonight with the Avalanche in town.

Lehner stopped 12 of 13 shots in an OT loss to the Predators after replacing the injured Craig Anderson on Tuesday. Anderson still has not skated since getting hurt, so Lehner will take over as the Sens number-1 until Andy is able to get back between the pipes. Lehner made 33 saves in a 4-1 victory over the Habs in their first meeting in November.

In five starts on that much rest he is 1-3-1 with a 3.82 GAA and .905 SV% with one shutout. It has been nine days since his last start, so lets see if the trend continues.

Lehner will get his first start since January 14, he posted a 27-save shutout over the WIld that night. Lehner makes his first start since January 27, a night he allowed no goals on 27 shots in a shutout victory over the Wild. Craig Anderson's improved play has forced Lehner into a back-up role, but he still makes for one of the league's better spot-start options. This afternoon he faces a Hurricanes team who have won two in a row and three of their last four.

Lehner allowed five goals on 33 shots in a loss to the Devils on December 18. He was the back-up for the last three games, but appears to be in-line to start in Boston tonight. Lehner has posted a 2-5-1 record with a 2.69 GAA and .928 SV% on the road.

Lehner has not recorded a win since November 23, a span of six appearances. Despite posting a solid 2.42 GAA and .930 SV% in 12 starts and 16 appearances, Lehner is 4-7-3.
