Lehner stopped 12 of 13 shots in relief of Craig Anderson on Thursday. Anderson continues to have his struggles in net so Lehner is looking more and more like the Senators starter with each passing game. He will face the Red Wings tonight who beat last week in a 34-save performance.

Lehner played great stopping 34 of 36 shots in a 4-2 win over the Red Wings on Saturday. The W earned him another start tonight vs. a struggling Carolina team. He is certainly making a case for himself to take over as the Senators starter. Lehner is sitting pretty with a 2.33 GAA and .940 vs. his crease-mate Anderson's 3.31 and .900.

He has been good this season, posting a 2.37 GAA an .939 SV% in nine appearances. In his first career start vs. the Red Wings, Johan Franzen scored five goals in a game Lehner was pulled from.

He has won each of his last three starts with a 1.33 GAA and .958 SV%.With Craig Anderson struggling, Lehner has a chance to earn more starts if he continues his stellar play. He has a good matchup vs. Phildelphia; however the Senators lost 5-0 last Tuesday at home against the Flyers.

Lehner will get his third consecutive start when the Senators take on the Panthers on Saturday. He allowed a single goal on 34 shots in a win over the Habs on Thursday. It was his second straight win - his only two this season. Lehner has a great chance to make it three straight tomorrow vs. Florida.

With Craig Anderson injured he will not make the trip to Columbus, so Lehner gets the nod. Lehner was peppered on Friday, he turned aside 53 of 57 shots in a loss to the Islanders. In four starts this season Lehner has made 45-plus saves on three separate occasion. He has seen a ton of rubber and has posted a .938 SV% in the process - that being said he has not chalked up a victory yet. The matchup vs. the Blue Jackets is a strong one, and he should be worth an add while Anderson is day-to-day.

Lehner has been great in limited action this season. He has one start and a relief appearance, but has seen 97 shots in that time. The young netminder has been been peppered thus far but has risen to the challenge, posting a .948 SV%. He has a solid matchup with the Oilers coming to town.
