Dzingel was claimed off of waivers from the Maple Leafs on Monday and will immediately make his Sharks debut. Dzingel will replace Jonathan Dahlen in the lineup and will skate with Logan Couture and Rudolfs Balcers.
Dzingel was acquired from the Coyotes on Saturday and waived on Sunday. Dzingel, who is on a one-year deal that pays him $1.1 million, has scored four goals with three assists (seven points) in 26 games this season. Dzingel will likely find a spot in the Sharks' bottom-6.

Dzingel has missed the last 10 games with an upper-body injury but is set to play Thursday vs. the Blue Jackets. It's unclear who he will replace in the lineup but he had two assists in six games this season.
Dzingel was hurt in Florida on Monday, playing just 6:00 TOI before leaving the game. Dzingel was one of four players hurt against the Panthers, so the Coyotes will have a drastically different-looking lineup in Tampa on Thursday.
Dzingel has performed better in Ottawa than he did in Carolina, scoring six goals with three assists in 29 games. However, he will sit out the season finale vs. Toronto to allow Parker Kelly to make his NHL debut.
