Ryan Kuffner News
The Red Wings have recalled Ryan Kuffner from Grand Rapids (AHL).
Kuffner turned pro last year after finishing his senior year at Princeton University. The 23-year-old winger did not register a point in 10 games with the Red Wings and was sent to Grand Rapids to start 2019-20. He scored a goal in his AHL debut and could draw into the lineup on Tuesday with Frans Nielsen going on IR with an undisclosed injury.
Line Change
Kuffner will be a healthy scratch on Tuesday.
The Red Wings signed Ryan Kuffner to a two-year entry-level contract.
Kuffner just finished his senior season at Princeton University, where he led the team in goals (22) and points (44) in 31 games this season. The 22-year-old is expected to report to the Red Wings where he could see some NHL action down the stretch.
