Reaves missed Game 6 after being added to the COVID-19 reserve list but the Golden Knights are hopeful that he will be available for Game 7. Head coach Pete DeBoer said that "after a positive test you must have multiple negative tests to prove it was a false positive, and they’re still waiting on those results."
Ryan Reaves News
Reaves has missed the last three games with a lower-body injury but travelled with the team to St. Louis and will be a game-time decision on Monday. Reaves will likely replace Patrick Brown in the lineup if he plays.
Reaves was picked up from Pittsburgh midseason last year, and picked up two assists in 21 games with Vegas. He became a key member of their fourth line and a fan favourite, which is why he is getting nearly three million per season.
Reaves has picked up two goals and 18 PIMS in 10 playoff games this postseason, but it looks like he will sit in Game 5 with Will Carrier (undisclosed) returning to the lineup.
Reaves was acquired from the Penguins on Friday and will play his first game with Vegas tomorrow in Los Angeles. Reaves is not known for his offence, having picked up just eight points (4G / 4A) in 58 games this season.
Reaves was suspended for his hit on Sharks’ defenseman Matt Tennyson on Monday and will miss his first game on Thursday. He’ll miss the weekend’s back-to-back and is eligible to return next Tuesday in Ottawa.
Reaves was hurt after taking a puck to the ankle in yesterday’s practice. He is not on anyone’s fantasy radars.
Reaves was ruled out for tonight on Monday, but he was at the morning skate today and head coach Ken Hitchcock said that Reaves is feeling better and feels good enough to play tonight.
The Blues have been hit by a flu bug that has gone around the locker-room. Reaves will not play tomorrow because of the illness. He is day-to-day.
