St. Louis has signed Samuel Johannsesson to a two-year, entry-level contract.
Johannesson was the 176th overall pick of the Columbus Blue Jackets in the 2020 NHL Entry Draft but has played exclusively in the Swedish Hockey League. In 43 games with Orebrok HK (SweHL) this season, the 23-year-old defenseman scored 27 points (11G / 26A).
