Sabourin will draw into the Sharks lineup on Monday in favour of Mike Hoffman, who will be a healthy scratch. Sabourin played his first game of the season with the Sharks last week, recording four penalty minutes and five hits in 11:12 time-on-ice.
Sabourin will make his first appearance as a San Jose Shark as Kevin Labanc is the odd-man out on Tuesday. Sabourin has nine goals and four assists in 29 games with the San Jose Barracuda (AHL) this season.

Sabourin had 16 goals, 17 assists, 177 PIMs and a +7 plus/minus through 51 games played with Belleville (AHL) in 2022-23 and has signed a two-year, two-way contract worth $775,000 AAV with San Jose. The 30-year-old right-winger last played in the NHL in 2021-22 and has appeared in 43 career NHL games with two goals, eight points and 49 PIMs.
Sabourin a is big, rugged forward who spent almost all of 2022 with Belleville (AHL). Sabourin had 17 points (5G / 12A) in 40 AHL games a season ago.

Sabourin has bounced around the AHL over his career, never appearing in an NHL game. The 27-year-old winger had just four goals and four assists (eight points) in 43 games with the Stockton Heat (AHL) last year.
Sabourin, 23, was just five points (3G / 2A) in 28 games with Ontario (AHL) and no points in three games with Manchester (ECHL). He is expected to report to Iowa (AHL).
The undrafted 21-year-old made his professional debut with Manchester at the end of the 2012-13 season after the completion of his 20-year-old season with the Oshawa Generals (30G-20A-50P in 65 games) and had signed a two-year contract with the Monarchs in April.
