PHOENIX — Avalanche defenseman Shane O’Brien, who has missed the past three games with a knee injury, rejoined the team here yesterday and skated hard this morning with today’s three healthy scratches

O'Brien is listed as out indefinitely with a knee injury so his presence in practice is a good sign. The bruising defender has a goal and 13 points on the season. Expect him to get back into the lineup shortly.
