Hall will miss 3-4 weeks after undergoing arthroscopic surgery to repair a torn meniscus.

Hall missed Tuesday’s game in Dallas and will miss 3-4 weeks because of a meniscus tear in his left knee. Hall has registered 12 points (5G / 7A) in 14 games this season and this loss will hurt the Devils for at least the next three weeks. With Hall out, expect Beau Bennett and Pavel Zacha to play bigger roles.

Hall (lower-body) will not play on Tuesday.

There’s no word on when Hall suffered the injury or how serious the lower-body ailment is, but it will keep him out of the lineup vs. Dallas. Hall has had a strong start to his Devils’ career, picking up 12 points (5G / 7A) in 14 games, so his absence will be huge for New Jersey.

The Devils have acquired Taylor Hall from the Oilers for Adam Larsson.

Hall spent the first six years of his NHL career in Edmonton after they selected him 1st overall in the 2010 NHL Draft. Hall is coming off of a 26-goal, 39-assist (65 points) season and has a career-high of 80 points (2013-14). The 24-year-old is one of the best young wingers in the NHL and should provide the Devils with a huge boost up front. He will be reunited with his former junior teammate Adam Henrique.

Hall (illness) will be a game-time decision on Tuesday.

Hall was not on the ice for the Oilers’ morning skate and his status for tonight’s game is in question. Hall is battling an illness, which could force him out of action. If he can’t play, expected Rob Klinkhammer to draw into the lineup and for Lauri Korpikoski to move up into the top six.

Hall (ankle) returned to practice on Monday; no timetable for his return.

Hall skated in a full team session for the first time since early February. Hall was unable to provide a timeline for his return, but he said he is feeling better. He is going to continue to skate and see how his ankle responds before his return is imminent.

Hall (lower-body) has returned to Edmonton for further testing.

Hall has missed the last two games and his return to Edmonton on Sunday suggests that he will miss both Monday and Tuesday’s games on the East Coast. With the Oilers season in the dumps, they will not rush their star winger back into the lineup for no reason.

Hall (lower-body) is not on the ice for the Oilers morning skate.

Hall re-aggravated his lower-body injury on Monday and it doesn’t look like he will be in the lineup tonight vs. the Penguins. With Hall out, Nail Yakupov has been bumped up to the Oilers top-line. Monitor Hall’s status after the skate, but it looks like he will be day-to-day again.

Hall left Monday’s game with a lower-body injury and did not return.

Hall returned to the lineup on Monday after missing three games, but re-aggravated his injury and was forced from the contest. Coach Todd Nelson said Hall’s exit was more precautionary than anything. Expect an update leading up to Wednesday’s game vs. the Penguins.
