Taylor Hall News

Hall was acquired from the Devils on Monday and joined the team in San Jose this morning and will make his debut against the Sharks. The Coyotes did not run lines this morning, so there is no indication who Hall will skate with.

Hall is a pending unrestricted free agent, so this could be a pure rental but the Coyotes are expected to pursue an extension. Hall will look to improve his numbers in Arizona to maximize his next deal and he could benefit from playing on a line with Phil Kessel. Hall's numbers so far are still decent, scoring six goals one 109 shots (5.5 SH%) with 19 assists (25 points) in 30 games.

Hall was on the ice for warmups last night but was a late-scratch in Colorado. Hall will sit out for a second straight game with New Jersey nearing a deal to trade the pending UFA. It looks like Hall has played his final game as a New Jersey Devil.

Hall will miss 14th consecutive game with a lower-body injury but did skate in New Jersey prior to the Devils practice on Sunday. Skating is an encouraging sign that Hall shouldn’t be too far away but he certainly is not healing as quick as they originally expected.

Hall will miss his second straight game and fourth game in the last eight due to a lower-body injury. The Devils don’t seem overly concerned about Hall missing an extended period of time so he could be back early next week.

Hall missed two games earlier this month with a lower-body injury and apparently it is still lingering. With Hall out, look for Stefan Noesen to draw back into the lineup.

Hall has missed the last two games with a lower-body injury but will play Tuesday vs. the Maple Leafs. Hall will be back on the top line with Nico Hischier and that duo has a 55.1 CF% and are averaging an impressive 33 scoring chances for/60 in 280:15 5v5 TOI together this season. Overall, Hall has eight goals and 23 assists (31 points) in 29 games.

Hall left this morning’s skate early and is listed as a game-time decision for tonight’s game vs. the Golden Knights. Monitor Hall’s status as the Devils hit the ice for warmups at 6:30 pm.

Hall missed the final three games before the All-Star break but was back on the ice for Monday’s practice and will play on Tuesday. Hall, who leads the Devils with 17 goals and 31 assists (48 points) in 43 games this season, will be back on the top line with Nico Hischier and Jesper Bratt.
