Rask will start Sunday vs. the Canadiens.

Rask gave up three goals on 26 shots in the Bruins’ win over the Sharks’ on Thursday. Anton Khudobin started yesterday to keep Rask rested for tonight’s game vs. the Canadiens. This is historically a team that Rask struggles against, but he stopped 30 of 31 shots that he faced in a 2-1 OT win in his only start against Montreal this season.

Because the Bruins will not hold a morning skate, we won't get an idea of who starts until closer to game-time. Head coach Claud Juien rarely announced his starting goaltender, but we shall see if interim head coach Bruce Cassidy changes that mentality in Boston.

The Bruins No.1 will go again tonight with Zane McIntyre as his backup—he allowed four goals on 20 shots in a 4-3 OT loss in his fist start vs. Washington.

Rask left Sunday’s with a migraine after allowing two goals on 22 shots in a game the Bruins ended up losing in Pittsburgh. He faced the Red Wings last Wednesday and gave up five goals on 25 shots in a 6-5 shootout loss. Rask hasn’t exactly been great in January, going 3-5-1 with a 2.72 GAA and .887 SV% in 10 starts this month.
