Vincent Trocheck News
Trocheck, 21, has scored four goals and nine assists (13 points) in 28 games with the Panthers this season. There is no word whether he will play on Sunday, but while in San Antonio, he had 17 points (6G / 11A) in 21 games.
The Panthers played their last game before the All Star break on Monday, but San Antonio has three games this week, so they’ve sent Trocheck down to get some playing time over the break.
Trocheck served as a healthy scratch for the last two games but will be back in the lineup tonight vs. the Penguins. There is no official word as to who will come out. Trocheck has registered 11 points (2G / 9A) in 19 games this season.
Trocheck was drafted in the third round (64th overall) in the 2011 NHL Entry Draft. Trocheck is in his first season with San Antonio (AHL) where he has 16 goals and 25 assists (41 points) in 54 games. With Marcel Goc now in Pittsburgh, Trocheck will likely play the remainder of the season with the Panthers.
