Zac Dalpe News
Dalpe has 14 goals, 24 points, 17 PIMs and a -7 plus/minus through 32 games with the Charlotte Checkers (AHL) this season but has been recalled for a second time Friday. The 33-year-old has played in 11 games with Florida so far this season, picking up two goals and two assists with a -4 plus/minus rating.
Dalpe has been a healthy scratch for the last four games but will replace Stefan Matteau in the lineup on Monday. Dalpe has two goals and one assist in 11 games this season.
Dalpe had played in eight straight games but has returned to Columbus to be with his wife for the birth of their child. Nathan Gerbe will replace him in the Blue Jackets' bottom-6.
Despite having a number of reserve forwards already in Columbus, it looks like Dalpe could draw into the lineup in Game 4. Dalpe would replace Brandon Dubinsky, who was banged up in Game 3. Dalpe had a strong season at the AHL level, scoring 33 goals with 22 assists (55 points) in 55 games.
Dalpe had one assist in 9:01 TOI while filling in for Riley Nash in Thursday’s win over the Panthers. His return to the AHL suggests that one of or both of Nash and Artemi Panarin will be back on Saturday.
Dalpe has been called up because Cam Atkinson will not play Thursday vs. the Panthers. There’s no word whether or not Dalpe will draw into the lineup.
With Brandon Dubinsky (face) returning from IR, the Blue Jackets needed to clear a roster spot and Dalpe is the odd man out. He returns to the Monsters, where he has six goals and 11 assists in 21 games.
Dalpe was called up and expected to play on Thursday but with Alexander Wennberg (back) returning to the lineup he served as a healthy scratch yet again. Dalpe has three goals and seven assists (10 points) in 14 games with the Monsters.
Dalpe has scored two goals with seven assists (nine points) in 13 games with the Monsters this season. There is no word whether he will be in the lineup on Thursday, but he has no points in 10 NHL games this season.
The Blue Jackets have a forward who is questionable for Tuesday due to an illness, so Dalpe comes up as an extra forward. He has seven points (1G / 6A) in 12 games with the Monsters but has failed to record a point in 10 games with the Blue Jackets.
Dalpe has not recorded a point in his first two games of the season and was a healthy scratch in the Blue Jackets last contest. Tonight he will replace Markus Hannikainen in the lineup vs. the Rangers.
Dalpe, 27, has one goal and two assists (three points) in nine games with Minnesota and two goals in 12 AHL games. Dalpe will report to Cleveland (AHL).
Dalpe left Saturday’s game vs. Dallas with a lower-body injury and is expected to miss at least a couple of weeks. With Dalpe out, the Wild will likely need to recall another forward from Iowa (AHL).
