Parise (back) is “good-to-go” for Tuesday’s game vs. Florida.

After just one game with Iowa (AHL) and a few practices with the Wild, Parise is set to make his season debut on Tuesday. After missing the first 39 games of the season with a back injury, Parise comes into 2017-18 after picking up just 19 goals and 23 assists (42 points) in 69 games last year.

The Wild have recalled Zach Parise (back) form Iowa (AHL); still on long-term IR.

Parise recorded one assist in last night’s game with Iowa and that marked the end of his conditioning stint. Recalling Parise already means one of two things: 1) he felt great and could join the Wild lineup soon. 2) it didn’t go well and he needs more time and that is why he’s still on LTIR.

Parise (back) has been assigned to Iowa (AHL) on a conditioning stint.

Parise has not played this season as he works his way back from an back issue. Parise will make his season debut with Iowa tomorrow. This is a huge step in the veterans eventual return to the Minnesota lineup but he remains without a firm timetable.

Parise (back) will travel on Minnesota’s upcoming four-game road trip.

Parise returned to the ice on Wednesday and will travel with the team on their road trip that starts Sunday in Chicago. Parise will not make his season debut on the trip, but the fact that he will travel and practice with the team is a big step in his recovery.

Parise is expected to undergo back surgery on Tuesday; will be sidelined for roughly two months.

Parise reportedly exhausted all the options to overcome a debilitating back injury, so he will undergo back surgery on Tuesday and is expected to be sidelined until late-December/early-January. Parise has been dealing with a herniated disk since 2015-16 and missed the entire 2016 playoffs as a result. Parise didn’t miss a game because of his back last year but the issue flared up two weeks before training camp. This is a huge blow for the Wild in the short-term, but getting Parise back to full health for the second half will be a huge boost.

Parise (undisclosed) suffered a setback in Monday’s practice; questionable to return this week.

The Wild were hopeful that Parise would make his season debut during their back-to-back on Friday/Saturday, but after lasting just 25 minutes in today’s practice, that seems unlikely now. There’s no word how serious the setback is, but consider him questionable for this week.

Zach Parise
Parise (back) will miss the first two games of the regular season.

Parise battled a back injury throughout training camp and will miss at least the first two games of the season. Parise is expected to return to practice next Monday, but this isn’t a great start to the season for the veteran winger, who was limited to 69 games last season.

Parise (eye) is not expected to play on Thursday.

Parise left Tuesday's game after taking a dangerous high stick to the eye. On Wednesday, head coach Bruce Boudreau said that Parise was not seriously injured, but he is expected to miss at least one game. With Parise likely sidelined, Joel Eriksson Ek is expected to draw into the lineup on Thursday.

Zach Parise
Parise (mumps) expects to be in the Wild lineup on Sunday.

Parise missed the last three games with mumps, but took part in practice on Saturday and said he fully intends on playing vs. the Sharks on Sunday. Parise skated on the top line with Eric Staal and Chris Stewart and enters play with 28 points (14G / 14A) in 50 games this season.

Zach Parise
Parise (illness) will be back in the Wild lineup on Tuesday.

Parise missed the last two gams with strep throat, but will play tonight in Nashville. Parise has had a surprisingly poor first three months, collecting just five goals and eight assists (13 points) in 24 games. He will be back on a line with Eric Staal and Charlie Coyle vs. the Predators.

Zach Parise
Parise (foot) is expected to return to the lineup on Tuesday.

Parise missed the last six games with a foot injury, but he returned to practice on Monday and will return to the lineup vs. Calgary. Parise skated on the third line with Erik Haula and Jason Pominville yesterday, so expect him to start there. Parise has two goals and four assists (six points) in eight games this season.

Zach Parise
Parise (foot) remains week-to-week; but could be back sooner than originally expected.

Parise missed Saturday’s game vs. Dallas and is listed as week-to-week with a foot injury. Head coach Bruce Boudreau said that he thinks Parise is ahead of schedule and could be back sooner than originally expected. Monitor Parise’s status as the week progresses.
