Smith will start Thursday in Montreal. Smith gave up four goals on 36 shots in the Oilers win in Toronto on Monday. Smith will make his fourth straight start on Thursday after going 2-0-1 with a 2.65 GAA and .918 SV% in his previous three outings. Price will start Thursday vs. the Oilers. Price surrendered three goals on 27 shots in the Canadiens loss to the Jets on Monday. Charlie Lindgren started Tuesday in Detroit, so they'll come back to Price tonight vs. Edmonton. He's on a five-game losing streak (0-4-1), posting a 3.89 GAA and .874 SV% since Christmas and could have a tough time with Connor McDavid in town. Shesterkin will start Thursday vs. the Devils. Shesterkin allowed three goals on 32 shots in the Rangers win over the Avalanche on Tuesday. Shesterkin had a tough start, giving up two early goals but settled in and recorded a win in his NHL debut. Demko will start Thursday in Florida. Demko allowed three goals on 16 shots after replacing Jacob Markstrom in the Canucks blowout loss in Tampa Bay on Tuesday. It was a rough night for both netminders but they'll give Demko his 14th start of the season in their second game of a Florida swing. Bobrovsky will be back in net on Thursday. Bobrovsky was pulled after he allowed three goals on seven shots in the Panthers loss in Buffalo on Saturday. Chris Driedger started the last two games but the Panthers will try to get Bobrovsky back on track tomorrow vs. Vancouver. Vasilevskiy will start Thursday vs. the Coyotes. Vasilevskiy allowed two goals on 23 shots in the Lightning's win over the Canucks on Tuesday. Vasilevskiy extended his winning streak to six games, posting a 2.17 GAA and .932 SV% in the process. With Anton Khudobin set to start Wednesday in Los Angeles, Bishop will get the second-half of the back-to-back on Thursday. Brossoit will start Thursday in Boston. Brossoit allowed one goal on 11 shots in a relief effort in the Jets loss to Toronto last Thursday. With Connor Hellebuyck going last night in Toronto, Brossoit draws the unenviable task of starting in Boston tonight. Hill will start Thursday in Tampa Bay. Hill stopped 37 of 39 shots in the Coyotes win in Florida on Tuesday. Hill's first start of the season couldn't have gone better but he'll be in tough in Tampa Bay on Thursday. Gibson led the Ducks onto the ice for warmups. Gibson allowed four goals on 26 shots in the Ducks win over the Predators on Sunday. He was given Tuesday night off, so there was no doubt that they'd come back to Gibson tonight vs. the Stars. Merzlikins has been sensational since taking over for Joonas Korpisalo on New Year's Eve.
