Campbell will make his Maple Leafs debut vs. the Ducks. Campbell was acquired from the Kings on Wednesday and is expected to make his Maple Leafs debut tonight vs. the Ducks. Anaheim is a team he is familiar with during his time in California, going 1-3-0 with a 3.26 GAA and .896 SV% in five career starts against them. Merzlikins will start Friday vs. the Red Wings. Merzlikins stopped all 32 shots that he faced in the Blue Jackets shutout win over the Panthers on Tuesday. Merzlikins is now riding a seven-game winning streak, posting a 1.14 GAA, .965 SV% and four shutouts. His numbers since Joonas Korpisalo went down are absolutely mind-blowing and he is the obvious top goalie tonight with the Red Wings in town on the tail-end of a back-to-back. Source: Mark Scheig
Bishop will start Friday vs. the Wild. Bishop gave up four goals on 41 shots in the Stars loss to the Islanders on Tuesday. Bishop has stumbled a bit recently, going 2-2-1 with a 3.02 GAA and .897 SV% in his last six outings (five starts). Still, the Stars remain one of the best defensive teams in hockey, making Bishop a quality option almost every night.
