Bean suffered a torn labrum on November 15th and underwent successful surgery on November 23rd. Expect Bean to be sidelined until early April, likely ending his 2022-23 seaosn.
Tinordi has been out since Nov.25th due to a hip injury and was placed on the injured reserve Thursday. The veteran defenseman was having a career season as he had two goals, and three assists with 15 PIMs in 20 games prior to the injury which is already career-highs in goals and points.
Miromanov will likely serve as an extra defenseman in Pittsburgh, with Alex Pietrangelo sidelined due a personal matter. If Miromanov ends up playing, he will replace Ben Hutton in the lineup.
Vladar allowed three goals on 33 shots (.909 SV%) for his fourth loss in a row his previous start vs. Carolina. The Flames' backup netminder has had some bad luck this season as shown by his 2.82 GAA, .908 SV% and 1-4-1 record. He takes on the Florida Panthers, who have lost two straight games in overtime after dropping their last contest 4-3 to Edmonton.
Bahl will make his second appearance with the Devils after being recalled from Utica (AHL) after collecting one assist and two PIMs in a quick three-game stint with the club. Bahl previously had a short three-game showing with New Jersey this year where he failed to pick up any points but also had two PIMs.

The Flames backup has fought the puck all season in limited action, posting a .881 SV% and 3.33 GAA along with his 1-3-0 record. The Flames backup has struggled this season after recently signing a two year contract extension, posting a 1-2-0 record with a .865 SV% and 3.82 GAA. He draws the daunting task of the Boston Bruins, who rank first in the NHL in goals per game (4.08) and seventh in shots per game (34.8).
