Murphy (personal) will be back in the Blackhawks lineup on Tuesday.

Murphy had missed the Blackhawks' previous two games due to personal matters but will be back in Chicago's lineup Tuesday as they take on the Boston Bruins. The 29-year-old has five goals, five assists, 62 SOG and a career-high 56 PIMs through 64 games prior to missing the last two games.

The Bruins have acquired Tyler Bertuzzi from the Red Wings for a 2024 1st Round Pick and a 2025 4th Round Pick.

Taylor Hall recently suffered a lower-body injury, which he'll receive a second opinion on, so the Bruins have added Bertuzzi to their top-9. Bertuzzi has struggled with injuries this season, appearing in just 29 games, scoring four goals (6.5 SH%) and 10 assists (14 points). He could make his Bruins debut as soon as Thursday vs. The Sabres.

Sam Lafferty will make his Maple Leafs' debut Wednesday.

Lafferty had 10 goals, 11 assists, 83 SOG, 28 PIMs and a -10 plus/minus through 51 games played with the Blackhawks but has been dealt alongside Jake McCabe, a conditional 2024 5th round pick, and a conditional 2025 5th round pick from the Blackhawks for Joey Anderson, Pavel Gogolev, a conditional 2025 1st round pick, and a 2026 2nd round pick. He will make his Toronto debut on Wednesday.

The Golden Knights have placed Laurent Brossoit (lower-body) on IR.

Brossoit was 1-0-0 with a 2.20 GAA and .936 SV% through three games this season but has been placed on the injured reserve due to a lower-body injury. Brossoit joins a long list of injured goalies as he becomes the third Vegas injured netminder.

Knight has entered the NHL/NHLPA player assistance program and is out indefinitely.

The NHLPA and NHL announced today that Panthers' goalie Spencer Knight will be unavailable for an indefinite period of time while he receives care from the player assistance program of the NHL and NHLPA. Under the terms of the joint program, Knight will continue to be paid while receiving treatment. He will return to the club when cleared for on-ice competition by the program administrators.
