The Jets have signed Kyle Capobianco to a two-year contract worth $1.525 million ($762.5K AAV).

Capobianco was a third-round pick in 2015 and appeared in 59 NHL games with the Coyotes over the last five years. Most of those appearances came in 2022 when he had nine points (2G / 7A) in 45 games. He'll probably be a reserve defenseman for the Jets as Dylan Samberg and Ville Heinola are poised to become full-time NHLers in the very near future.

The Kraken have signed Cameron Hughes to a two-year, two-way contract.

Hughes spent the first five years of his career in the Bruins' organization after being a sixth-round pick in 2015. He's only appeared in two NHL games since, but led Providence (AHL) in scoring with 45 points (14G / 31A) in 59 games last season.

The Kraken have signed Magnus Hellberg to a one-year, two-way contract.

Hellberg joined the Red Wings late in the 2022 season after finishing his season in the KHL with Sochi HC. He only played in one game with Detroit, allowing three goals on 23 shots in a win over the Devils. In Seattle, hell be No.4 on the depth chart behind Philipp Grubauer, Martin Jones and Chris Driedger.
