Talbot was excellent in his most recent outing, saving 33 of 34 shots (.971 SV%) in a 3-1 win over the Calgary Flames. The 37-year-old netminder has an outstanding .957 SV% in his last four games (4-0-0). The Red Wings enter Tuesday's contest as slight -100 road underdogs against a Kraken team coming off a 3-2 loss to the Flames.

Lyon will make his first start since January 21st when the Red Wings travel to Edmonton on Thursday. Lyon took an unfortunate loss his last time out, stopping 24 of the 26 shots he faced in a 2-1 overtime loss in Philadelphia. He owns an 8-6-1 record and a .901 SV% on the season. Lyon could have a hard time getting back in the win column on Thursday, as the Red Wings enter action at +225 on the money line.
