Daws owns a 6-7-0 record in 13 starts on the season to go along with a .903 SV% and a 3.18 GAA. He draws a difficult assignment on Thursday at home against the Rangers, though New York could be without Artemi Panarin (lower-body).
Kovacevic will be a healthy scratch on Wednesday vs. Buffalo.
