Allen is winless in his last five outings and has allowed four or more goals in three straight, including four on 24 shots (.833 SV%) in a 4-3 loss to the New Jersey Devils on February 24th. Markstrom will start on Monday vs. Seattle.

Despite all the trade speculation, it seems Jacob Markstrom will be staying in Calgary for the remainder of the season as he gets his seventh-straight start on Monday vs. Seattle. The 34-year-old is second in the NHL with a +18.7 GSAx and has impressed despite the weak roster in front of him with his 21-15-2 record, 2.57 GAA and .914 SV%. He will host the Seattle Kraken on Monday, who have won three of their last five games but are struggling offensively as they are 28th in the NHL in goals per game (2.72).

He is riding a two-game winning streak and was excellent in his last outing, saving 29 of 31 shots (.935 SV%). The Devils enter action as sizeable -282 road favourites against an Anaheim Ducks club that defeated them 5-1 earlier this season.
