Despite losing five in a row and Anders Nilsson returning from injury tonight, the Canucks will stick with Markstrom in Anaheim. The 28-year-old has allowed 18 goals on the last 177 shots (.898 SV%) he faced in those five games.

Allen stopped 25 of 26 shots in the Blues 2-0 loss to the Kings on Monday. Allen has had his fair share of struggles so far this season, but has allowed just three goals on 78 shots (.962 SV%) in his last three starts. Allen’s play is improving, but he has a terrible matchup tonight in Nashville.

Hischier will miss his third straight game with an upper-body injury, but he was originally listed as a game-time decision which suggests that he is close. With Hischier still out, Travis Zajac is expected to remain on the Devils’ top-line.

Hischier was forced to leave Sunday’s game with an upper-body injury and will not play against the Penguins. The Devils have not provided an update on the severity of Hischier’s injury, but he will be replace by Pavel Zacha tonight.

Tonight he will face a Rangers team without two of their top wingers, but Markstrom is 2-2-2 with a 3.53 GAA and .889 SV% on the road.
