Sorokin will start vs. Colorado on Thursday.

The Islanders will try to snap a two-game losing skid on Sunday, turning to Sorokin to tend the twine against the Washington Capitals. The 30-year-old hopes to rebound after struggling in his most recent outing, allowing three goals on 14 shots (.786 SV%) in a 3-1 loss to the Boston Bruins. That said, Sorokin has been stellar during November, posting a 2.01 GAA and .926 SV% in eight games (4-3-1).

The Mammoth will turn to Vanecek on Friday after Karel Vejmelka was tagged for four goals on 17 shots in a 4-3 loss to the Canadiens on Wednesday. Vanecek has struggled in his limited action with the Mammoth this season, posting a 2-3-1 record and an .873 SV% across six starts. He'll be hoping to turn this around in Dallas on Friday, where the Mammoth enter action as slight underdogs at +115 on the money line.

Max Domi will be a healthy scratch on Friday against the Washington Capitals, allowing Maccelli to re-enter the lineup. He has a 2.67 GAA and .905 SV% in 15 games this season (7-6-2). The Islanders enter Wednesday's contest as -158 home favorites against a Bruins team that defeated them 4-3 in a shootout earlier this month.
