Adam Pelech is day-to-day with an upper-body injury.

Pelech left the Islanders' game Tuesday after just 15:37 TOI due to an upper-body injury and is considered day-to-day for the time being. The 28-year-old has been enjoying his most productive statistical season to date, with three goals, eight assists, 24 PIMs and +12 plus/minus through 27 games this season.

Sorokin allowed two goals on 21 shots (.905 SV%) as he took his second straight loss with only two goals against in a defeat to Nashville his last time out. Sorokin is a leading Vezina Candidate this season due to him being second in the NHL in SV% (.932 SV%), third in GAA (2.17) and his 10-7-0 record. He will take on the streaky St. Louis Blues who are on a four-game losing skid and have dropped six of their last seven games.

Bardreau has five goals, four assists and 23 PIMs through 19 games with Bridgeport (AHL) prior to his call-up Thursday. The 29-year-old last played in the NHL in 2019-20 where he played in 10 games, picking up a goal, an assist and 10 SOG through.

Fasching earned his call-up as he had seven goals, three assists and 10 PIMs through 18 games with Bridgeport (AHL) prior to the news he had been recalled. The 27-year-old has never played in more than 11 games in a season but has made an NHL appearance in five separate ones, picking up a goal and two assists and a -6 plus/minus across 38 total NHL games played.
