Reilly was a minus-1 in 18:03 TOI in last Friday’s blowout loss in Anaheim and will be replaced by Brett Kulak tonight vs. the Red Wings.

DeAngelo went on an extended run without being scratched but will come out of the lineup on Monday. DeAngelo has picked up 11 assists in his last 13 games but is expected to be replaced by Frederik Claesson in Edmonton.


Schneider allowed one goal on 17 shots in the Devils shootout loss to the Blue Jackets on Tuesday. Schneider has been inconsistent on a night-to-night basis, going 4-4-2 with a 2.28 GAA, .923 SV% and one shutout overall since returning from injury. Tonight he will face a Rangers team that is in the middle of a six-game losing skid, going 0-2-4 in the process.

Palmieri missed the last four games with a lower-body injury but will play Friday in Washington. Palmieri, who will skate on the top line with Travis Zajac and Kenny Agostino, has 26 goals and 22 assists (48 points) in 63 games this season.

Varlamov allowed four goals on 40 shots in Colorado’s loss in San Jose last Friday. Philipp Grubauer started in Anaheim on Sunday but they’ll come back to Varlamov on Tuesday. Varlamov has been average as of late but is a great option vs. the Red Wings—he stopped all 24 shots that he faced in a 2-0 shutout win in his first start against Detroit.

Schneider allowed five goals on 23 shots in the Devils loss to the Flyers last Friday. It was a rough outing for the veteran netminder, but Schneider has been solid since the middle of February—going 4-2-0 with a 1.99 GAA, .936 SV% and one shutout in his last six outings.
