Aube-Kubel will be a healthy scratch for Game 3 vs. New York on Friday.

Aube-Kubel will head to the press box for Game 3 on Friday vs. New York as Ivan Miroshnichenko draws into the lineup for the first time in the playoffs. The Rangers snapped a two-game losing skid on Saturday courtesy of a stellar performance from Shesterkin and will turn to him again on Monday against the Ottawa Senators. Shesterkin saved 34 of 36 shots (.944 SV%) in a 3-2 victory over the New York Islanders on Saturday, extending his streak of six straight games allowing three or fewer goals (4-2-0). The Rangers enter action as -224 home favourites.

Brisson was the 29th overall pick of the Golden Knights in the 2020 NHL Entry Draft and has spent most of the 2023-24 campaign in the AHL but has been effective when called up. The 22-year-old Brisson has eight points (2G / 6A) in 14 games with Vegas this season.
