Wennberg (undisclosed) will play Game 3 vs. Washington on Friday.

Wennberg missed practice on Thursday due to an undisclosed injury and was originally considered a game-time decision but has stated himself that he will play in Game 3 vs. Washington on Friday. The 28-year-old was acquired at the trade deadline from Seattle and has yet to pick up a point in the playoffs while averaging 16:17 TOI.

Georgiev will start Game 2 on Tuesday in Winnipeg.

After a disappointing 7-6 game one loss to the Winnipeg Jets, Colorado will turn to Georgiev for a second straight game. Georgiev had a forgettable game-one performance, echoing the latter half of his regular season, allowing seven goals on 23 shots (.696 SV%). The Avalanche enter action on Tuesday as -115 road favourites in game two.

Grundstrom is expected to draw into the Kings lineup for Game 1 of the playoffs.

Grundstrom has been out since February 13th but it looks like he'll dress on the Kings' fourth line in game 1 vs. Edmonton. The 26-year-old winger did play two games with Ontario (AHL) during an LTIR conditioning loan and tallied one goal and one assist.

Romanov has been recalled from the San Jose Barracuda (AHL).

Mackenzie Blackwood is out for the remainder of the season due to an undisclosed injury, prompting the Sharks to recall Romanov. The 24-year-old Romanov has a 3.14 GAA and .904 SV% in 29 games (9-9-8) with the San Jose Barracuda (AHL) this season.

Gushchin will draw back into the Sharks' lineup on Monday vs. Edmonton.

Guschin was the 76th overall pick of the Sharks in the 2020 NHL Entry Draft. He played two games with the Sharks earlier this season but has spent most of the 2023-24 campaign with the San Jose Barracuda, scoring 54 points (20G / 34A) in 56 games.

Thompson will draw into the Sharks' lineup on Monday vs. Edmonton.

Thompson made his NHL debut with the Tampa Bay Lightning earlier this season and will make his Sharks debut on Monday against the Edmonton Oilers. Thompson was the 93rd overall pick of Tampa Bay in the 2020 NHL Entry Draft and has 41 points (6G / 35A) in 62 AHL games this season between the Syracuse Crunch and the San Jose Barracuda.
