Several poor outings for Joey Daccord have earned Grubauer his second start in the last three games for Seattle. Grubauer entered Saturday's 5-2 loss to the Minnesota Wild in relief, saving 17 of 18 shots (.944 SV%), and has been terrific since returning from a multi-month absence due to injury, posting a .939 SV% in three appearances (2-0-0). Seattle is a +131 home underdog against the Bruins on Monday despite defeating them 4-1 less than two weeks ago.

Kartye has been in and out of the lineup the last month and will return to being a healthy scratch on Monday against the Boston Bruins. The 22-year-old Kartye has 15 points (8G / 7A) in his rookie season (53 games) but has been held off the scoresheet in the last seven games.

The German netminder saved 26 of 27 shots (.963 SV%) in a 2-1 win over the New York Islanders on February 13th, the only contest this season that he has allowed fewer than two goals (6-9-1). Seattle enters action as a +114 home underdog against the Vancouver Canucks.

Lajoie and Marshall Rifai will sit on Thursday as Morgan Rielly and William Lagesson will draw back into the Leafs' lineup. Lajoie has no goals and one assist in seven games this season.

Seattle is riding a two-game winning streak and is a -136 home favourite entering action on Monday.

Evans will be the odd-man out on Thursday as Brian Dumoulin (lower-body) is ready to return. Evans has no goals and four assists in 16 games this season.

Grubauer still had a weak grip on the Kraken starting job prior to his injury, but Joey Daccord has since taken full control of Seattle's crease. Grubauer lost his previous four starts prior to the injury, and Daccord excelled in his absence, posting a .935 SV% across 22 starts. Grubauer draws a difficult matchup in his return, with the Kraken being +145 underdogs on Long Island.

Daccord will maintain his hold on the Kraken crease on Monday as Philip Grubauer is yet to make an appearance since returning from a lower-body injury on January 24th, though that will likely come to an end when the Kraken travel to Long Island on Tuesday for the tail-end of their back-to-back. Daccord was unfortunate to pick up the loss his last time out, stopping 35 of the 38 shots he faced as Seattle fell to the Flyers by a score of 3-2. He has enjoyed one of the biggest breakout campaigns across the NHL this season, posting a .921 SV% and a 2.34 GAA across 35 appearances.
