Aatu Raty will make his NHL debut Friday vs. Florida.

Raty has five goals, seven assists, 10 PIMs and was a +4 plus/minus through 23 games with Bridgeport (AHL) and will be called up for the first time in his NHL career to the Islanders. The 2021 2nd-round pick (52nd overall) will be looking to make his NHL debut if he finds his way into New York's lineup.

Nils Hoglander has been reassigned to Abbotsford (AHL).

Hoglander had three goals, six assists, 29 SOG and a -4 plus/minus in 25 games with the Canucks but will head to Abbotsford (AHL) in hopes of being called up again later in the season. The demotion is a bit of a surprise after Hoglander played 116 NHL games across the last two seasons.

Filip Chytil will play Tuesday vs. the Penguins (upper body).

Chytil left the Rangers' previous contest vs. Chicago after just 4:48 TOI due to an upper-body injury but still managed to pick up a goal and an assist with two SOG in his limited time. There was a chance he would be forced to miss Tuesday, but he announced in the morning that he is "good to go" and will play vs. Pittsburgh.

Filip Chytil
Chytil (upper-body) is questionable to play Monday in Pittsburgh.

Chytil collected one goal and one assist in 4:48 TOI before exiting Sunday's game in Chicago with an upper-body injury. After Chytil left, Barclay Goodrow moved to centre, and Vitaly Kravtsov moved up the lineup, look for that to remain if he can't go Tuesday.

Brock Boeser will be a game-time decision Monday (illness).

Boeser has missed the Canucks last two games due to illness and will be a game-time decision Monday as they take on St. Louis. It has been a rocky season for the 25-year-old, dealing with trade speculations while putting up four goals, 12 assists, 48 SOG with a -14 plus/minus through 22 games played so far.

Arturs Silovs has been recalled from Abbotsford (AHL).

Silovs has a 9-5-3 record, .887 SV% and 2.92 GAA with the Abbotsford Canucks (AHL) and has been recalled Monday by the Vancouver Canucks to be Spencer Martin's backup. Silovs has been recalled previously in his career but has yet to make his NHL debut so if he does see any game action, he will knock that milestone off his checklist.

Vitali Kravtsov will draw back into the Rangers lineup Thursday.

Kravtsov has been a healthy scratch since Dec. 5th but will draw back into the lineup Thursday vs. Toronto. The 22-year-old, 2018 1st round pick (9th overall) has been a bit of a disappointment in his second season in the NHL, with a goal, an assist, seven SOG and six PIMs through 10 games so far.

Vitali Kravtsov
Lankinen will start Tuesday vs. the Oilers.

Lankinen was incredible in his last start, stopping 48 of 49 shots (.980 SV%) in a win over the New York Islanders. The Predators' backup is having far and away his best season to date, with a 6-3-3 record, 2.27 GAA and .934 SV%. He faces the Edmonton Oilers, who lost Monday vs. Minnesota but still are lethal offensively due to their first-ranked powerplay (30.2) in the NHL.

Filip Chytil is expected to return to the lineup on Wednesday (lower body)

Chytil missed the Rangers' previous two contests due to a lower-body injury but is expected to return Wednesday. It will be a welcome return for the 23-year-old, who has four goals, 11 points and is a +6 with 30 SOG through 19 GP this season.
