Hughes has missed the last four games for Vancouver with a lower-body injury and will be a game-time decision Tuesday vs. the Devils. The superstar defenseman has five points through his first five games to start the 2022-23 season while playing a career-high 27:14 ATOI.

Vitalii Kravtsov will be out for at least a week with an upper-body injury

Kravtsov is experiencing concussion-like symptoms and will miss at least a week for the New York Rangers. It has been a tough start to the 2022-23 season for the 2018 1st rd pick (9th overall) who was just returning from a previous injury and has yet to collect his first point or even shot of the season after playing four games so far.

Brock Boeser is close to returning and will be a game-time decision vs. the Devils

Boeser has been sidelined with an undisclosed injury since last week which has caused him to miss the Canucks last three games. Through six games so far this season, he has four assists and is a -3 plus/minus rating. His return will be much-needed positive news for the 2-5-2 Vancouver Canucks.

Demko (0-5-1) will be looking to get Vancouver its first win of the 2022-23 season as he brings his .872 SV% and 4.06 GAA into Seattle Thursday. He undeservedly lost his previous outing 3-2 to the Carolina Hurricanes after making 36 stops (.923 SV%) against one of the league's top teams. He takes on Seattle who won their last game out impressively, 5-1 over the Buffalo Sabres.

Brock Boeser will miss Monday's game against Carolina (day-to-day)

Boeser will miss Monday's game against Carolina after leaving the Canucks last game vs. Buffalo early due to an injury. He is considered day-to-day according to head coach Bruce Boudreau. Through six games so far in 2022-23, he is yet to score while adding four assists and only nine SOG.
